Jennifer Shafton
  • Grew up in Encino and currently lives in Sherman Oaks.
  • Graduated USC with a B.A.
  • Previous work experience in sales and as a paralegal.
  • Enormous passion for pets.
  • Grew up with dogs and birds.
  • Found my true calling when I started Claws N Paws Petsitting in January 2004.
  • Can't think of a better way to spend my days than sharing my love for animals.
Carolyn Hoffman
  • Grew up in Altoona, Pennsylvania and currently lives in Valley Village.
  • Moved to California 40 years ago with her father.
  • Was mainly a stay at home mom but also worked at a bank.
  • Enjoys being around animals. They are wiser than us and we can learn so much from them.
  • Hobbies are gardening, hiking, making clothes, cooking, exercising, and anything creative.
Charli Haynes
  • Grew up in Santa Monica and currently lives in Encino.
  • Several years of pet sitting and dog walking experience.
  • Immense love for all creatures.
  • Loves my job and my heart opens the more I work with animals.
  • Has a unique rapport and deep intuitive communication with animals.
Christi Frantom
  • Grew up in Pineville, Louisiana and currently lives in North Hollywood.
  • Graduated from The American Musical & Dramatic Academy in New York City.
  • Loves animals of all kinds since childhood.
  • Moved to Southern California in 1992.
  • My dog, Max, was the love of my life. He lost his leg due to cancer but that never slowed him down.
Donna Benesch
  • Raised in Miami, Florida, moved to Los Angeles in 1994, and would never want to live anywhere else.
  • Lives in Sherman Oaks with her husband and their 3 wonderful daughters.
  • Worked in the music and television business.
  • Loves being around animals and can't wait to have some of our own when the girls are older.
  • Will shower all my love for animals on the Claws N Paws Petsitting family.
  • Very passionate about family and cooking.
  • Loves growing fresh vegetables in her own garden.
Jackie Lurie
  • Born in Chicago, raised in Long Beach and resides in Lake Balboa with her Cocker Spaniel, Border Collie mix, Birman Cat, and husband…in that order.
  • Certified Interior Designer for years before embarking on her calling working with animals.
  • Spent early summer vacations assisting her uncle at his veterinary clinic.
  • Worked as assistant dolphin trainer as a teen.
  • Has a deep appreciation of nature and empathy for all creatures large and small.
  • Loves art, music, antiques, gardening, reading, hiking, and of course, animals!
Jen Hoffman
  • Grew up in North Hollywood and currently lives in Valley Village.
  • Attended Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts.
  • Grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, and frogs.
  • Was always the one kid in the neighbor to bring home all the stray animals and begged to keep them.
  • Admires how animals give so much unconditional love and always manage to bring you up when you are down.
  • Enjoys the arts, going to concerts, the beach, and doing ballet.
Lindsay Lees
  • Lives in Sherman Oaks with a Doberman Pinscher, a Lemon Beagle, and two Blue Russian Cats.
  • Grew up over the years with 10 dogs, 3 rabbits, and 4 cats.
  • Absolutely adores animals.
  • Studied and received a B.A. while living in Manchester England.
  • Loves the outdoors and going to Disneyland.
  • Aspiring novelist.
Rebecca McMahon
  • Born and raised in the Carolinas, currently living in Encino with her husband, and their three pets: Harold Eugene, a sweet & bouncy boxer/dalmatian mix, Delores Mabel, a sensitive & animated chinese crested powderpuff, and Fiona, an elderly & loving plump ginger tabby cat.
  • Previous work experience as a dental assistant.
  • Has always loved and cared for animals of all kinds (dogs, cats, horses, birds, bunnies, and even ferrets!).
  • Active in dog agility with her littlest 'fur kid,' Delores.
  • Enjoys 'beach reads' all year long on her kindle, and has every Leonard Cohen album.
  • Loves to hike, sew, bake, and entertain her house guests (especially family and friends from the east coast) as often as possible.
Sarah Chapman
  • Grew up in Toluca Lake and currently lives in Burbank.
  • Graduated from University of San Diego with a B.A. in Communication Studies.
  • Spent 8 years Equestrian show jumping and exercising the barn dogs.
  • Cherishes the unconditional love of animals.
  • Experienced caregiver to dogs, cats, birds, horses, and rabbits.

Steven Andrews
  • Grew up in Auburn, Indiana and moved to Valley Village in 2007.
  • Graduated from Ball State University with a B.A. in 2006.
  • Has experience working with several types of animals including dogs, cats, rodents, saltwater fish, snakes, and horses.
  • Loves playing, walking and caring for the pets I meet through Claws N Paws Petsitting.
  • Likes listening to and creating music via trumpet, guitar, and singing.
Sylvie Steinbach
  • Born in France but has been living in the Sherman Oaks/Studio city area for more than 15 years.
  • Enjoyed being around farm animals during childhood (goats, cows, pigs, rabbits, chickens, donkeys, dogs, and cats).
  • Offered dog walking services as a kid to be around dogs.
  • Favorite hobby is horseback riding.
  • Works as a reputable life coach and metaphysician in tune with all living beings.
  • Educates and writes to help people unveil their full potential in life.
Tama Winograd
  • Grew up in Buffalo, NY, lived in Boston, and moved to L.A. in 1989.
  • Graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo and the Bentley College Institute of Paralegal Studies.
  • Active Volunteer with L.A. Animal Services for 14 years. Former mother to two cats and currently mom to Simon, 14 year poodle/terrier mix.
  • When I'm not walking your dog (or mine), I'm summarizing depositions and doing yoga.
